Why I Teach...

I love to guide and support students in finding and pursuing their passions and interests, which they then will explore and share with others after they have graduated. To hear a student take on a new challenge, to expand their knowledge and skills, to bravely show vulnerability so they may learn and experience more provides me with deep and long-lasting joy. To support students in taking on new challenges, we work together to develop soft (e.g. interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence) and hard skills (e.g. all phases of the writing process, solving linear equations). I hope the students I work with will give back to the world something to make it a little better, a little more beautiful.
