About Mrs. Raber: This is my ninetenth year of teaching middle school. My husband and I have three children and live in Falmouth, Maine. Our daughters are 19 and 17 and our little guy is 10. I was fortunate to attend Maine Maritime Academy studying chemistry and oceanography, completing my education with a focus in literacy from University of New England and Columbia University.
In science we will focus on life science concepts. Beginning with how scientists work and moving up from microbiology into organisms. We will also work on questioning systems, models and human impact. Class resources will be shared in google classroom.
Seventh grade social studies looks at the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, China and India. I am looking forward to going back in time to see how we know what we know and why it is important to us as a culture and population. Lets in dig deep into the dirt.
